The meeting on budgetary requirements for the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan was held on 07 August 2025 with the DILG Provincial Director Frederick Gumabol, Jr., CESO V and various offices of the PGOM.
The actual allocation of funds for the POPS Plan is conducted annually based on the formulated multi-year strategy addressing peace, order, and public safety issues. The DILG Provincial Director plays a key role in guiding and approving the budget allocation, coordinating with the PGOM staff and other local government units to ensure resources are properly allocated according to prioritized strategies and activities. This coordinated budgeting ensures that peace and order initiatives are well-resourced and responsive to local needs under the oversight of both the DILG and the provincial government.
