Orientation on the TRANSCEND Project by Conservation International (CI) Philippines at UN Habitat

The orientation on the TRANSCEND Project by Conservation International (CI) Philippines at UN Habitat was held on August 11, 2025 at the Provincial Capitol, Calapan City wherein it was participated by the various PGOM offices namely the PPDO, ENRO, PDRRMO, PAgO, and PCDO.
The program introduced a collaborative initiative aimed at supporting the Philippines’ transition to a climate-resilient, low-carbon, and biodiversity-friendly society. The project, funded by Germany’s International Climate Initiative and implemented from 2023 to 2029, focuses on integrated adaptation, mitigation, and biodiversity solutions in vulnerable regions of the Philippines. It involves multiple stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector, and civil society, working together to protect nature, enhance climate resilience, and promote sustainable development aligned with national climate and biodiversity commitments.
