The celebration of the 30th National Statistics Month was formally opened on 07 October 2019 at the Bulwagang Panlalawigan with the theme “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation.” One of the highlights of the activity was the launching of exhibit/entries to the contest on the display of IEC materials participated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro.
PGOrM’s entry, prepared by the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), consisted of infographics that are relevant to the province’s vision of becoming a food base exporting high value products and agri-eco tourism destination in MIMAROPA with an environment conducive for investments.
