PPDO Highlights Development Planning Updates at the Local Planners General Assembly

PPDC Lydia Muneca S. Melgar delivered a presentation on Development Planning Updates during the Local Planners General Assembly last February 21, 2024, at Aplaya de Analiza Resort, Brgy. Guinhawa, Pinamalayan. The discussion covered key topics, including references, issuances, and legal bases, a review of mandated and thematic plans, and monitoring and evaluation through the Functionality Assessment, where Calapan City, San Teodoro, Naujan, Victoria, Pinamalayan, Gloria, Bansud, Bongabong, and Roxas received Certificates of Recognition for their high functionality in development planning.
Updates on implemented KOICA-GGGI, PAMANA, and DREAMS Projects were also shared, along with the technical assistance being provided by the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) in reviewing development plans and investment programs, facilitating formulation and updating of plans, and GIS mapping and printing of maps.
A special recognition was also awarded to the Municipal Government of Pinamalayan – Municipal Planning and Development Office for its exemplary responsiveness and commitment to timely and complete data submission to the PPDO, as well as for its commendable compliance with mandated plans and dedicated efforts in preparing required matrices and lists of Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs).
