The Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) of Oriental Mindoro 2016-2025 has been presented before the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) Executive Committee last 27 September 2019. The presentation was made by the PPDC Lydia Muneca S. Melgar together with her planning team representatives Lennie B. Alberto and Maria Marsha F. De Castro. The Executive Committee members were apprised about the PDPFP prior to its final approval/ratification by the Board of Commissioners of the HLURB tentatively scheduled November 2019.
The PDPFP is a long term planning document containing analyses of the planning environment along with the programs and projects and strategies proposed to be implemented within the short-to-medium term. At the provincial level, the PDPFP will guide the policy formulation and implementation of development programs, projects and activities. At the municipal level, the plan will serve as the framework for the formulation/updating of the LGUs’ comprehensive land use plans.
